Unai Emery’s men won their last league match at Huddersfield after being well beaten by Man City the previous match. They have done well in general this season and the whole Emery reign to date has to be viewed in a positive light.
BATE won the league in Belarus last season and have been out of competitive football since December. Their season runs April to December. They will have had plenty of time to prepare for this and no distractions, they may just lack in match sharpness though.
This isn’t the first time we have seen BATE take on English opposition this campaign in the Europa League. They were in Chelsea’s group and were very unlucky not to at least take a point from Sarri’s men at home and could have won. They hit the woodwork 3 times and forced plenty of saves.
Arsenal have improved but they aren’t exactly what you would describe as tough nuts to crack. The atmosphere tonight will catch a couple of them out and we think the home team can capitalise with a good performance, if not quite a positive result.
They were able to force plenty of corners and shots on target against Chelsea. They are likely to have more of the ball in this match so we can bet on their Shots on Target and Corners being better than the market expects.
