How do you predict the result for one of, if not the most unpredictable horse race on the planet!? Between Tony R and Trading Room, we have the advice and information you need for dealing with the big race.
Firstly if betting in a betting shop, TAKE THE PRICE/ODDS. That means ask for the odds or write them on the slip yourself. There is a lot less bookmaker margin earlier in the day, at SP you are betting into an extremely unfavourable market.
Lastly, although the race is described as a lottery there is still a few important things to look for when selecting your horse(s) for the Grand National. If we had to pinpoint one thing in particular to look out for, at risk of stating the obvious it’s a horse that has proven it JUMPS WELL. Some horses get away with winning races through their class despite jumping errors, that will not work here!
