At risk of babbling on for too long and nobody reading through, I’ll cut to the chase quickly with these three tips. First up is Prairie Spy at Brighton in the delightfully named Sky Sports Racing on Virging 535 Handicap at 15:35. The handicapper’s been lenient with him and dropped him 3lb over his last couple of runs, both of which have been in deeper races than this. Mark Johnston does well here and the 10/3 looks value.
The next suggestion runs at Wolverhampton in the 14:20, David O’Meara’s Hard Solution is rumoured to be well fancied in first time blinkers and on the all-weather. From stall one there is a likelihood that David Nolan will keep this simple and try to make all. That’s going to keep him out of traffic problems in this 13 runner sprint. With enhanced place terms at William Hill we can have an each-way play on this fella.
Wolverhampton again for the final tip of the day, a little bit of luck will be needed but Viola Park at 15/2 rates a bit of value in the 6f Handicap at 17:05. Dropped 2lb after a couple of lacklustre efforts of late he’s back to a mark that he’s been competitive off recently at on the all-weather. He was very consistent over the winter and can consider himself unlucky to have not had at least one more win over that period. Ron Harris and David Probert are a nice partnership and at the odds, we can back them to get the job done.
