Tajdeed was the subject of a fair gamble last time out but it was ultimately foiled by a pretty poor ride from the inexperienced jockey. A change of pilot this time to a more trustworthy amateur should see the well handicapped charge get home in what looks a very winnable race.
John Gosden’s only horse at the meeting is likely to be a warm order and is having his sights lowered massively after running in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot. There has been enough ability shown by Kimblewick to believe he could be far too good for this bunch. I have somebody close to the stable and for what it’s worth, they like their chances tonight.
