After another winning tip earlier this week with Miami’s First Half spread, we focus in on one of Sunday’s games during week nine. Remember your value plays are here every week at the Green Room, consistent profits just by betting the NFL.
Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Monday night football saw the Steelers go very close to their most embarrassing result this season. Trailing Miami 14-0 at any stage in the game is pretty horrible, it’s been just over a year since they had that big a lead!
Then Miami seemed to realise, ‘’Oh shit, we are supposed to be tanking right!?’’ They then folded and had an almost unfathomable amount of interceptions that included 5 in their last 7 drives.
The final score was 27-14 Steelers but that certainly shouldn’t paper over the giant cracks at Heinz Field. Today they’ll host a 5-2 Colts that can give them way more to think about than the Dolphins.
We do have to put Indy’s poor recent record in Pittsburgh (lost 14 of last 15) to the back of our minds a little but remember this Steelers outfit is nothing like that of the last decade.
Rudolph is getting to grips with life as an NFL quarter-back but it’s still early and those around him are either banged up or not very good. On the other hand Indianapolis has dealt with Andrew Luck’s retirement well and there is plenty to like about Jacoby Brisset’s start to QB journey.
The Colts get down the field well, they are aggressive and have two ways to play which should help Mack big time against a poor (15th worst) rushing D. Pittsburgh’s first halves have been their biggest downfall this year and it’s well worth betting it’s the same story later today.
