Kempton Racing Tips
Here we have Wednesday’s Horse Racing Betting Tips for loyal followers. Tony R is back after a spell folks and is thankfully out of the woods regarding his poor health. Today he hits the ground running with a couple of selections, a back and a lay.
There was plenty to like about Penmellyn’s last outing at Newcastle. Phillip Makin’s 2 year old filly wasn’t knocked about but kept on nicely after being held up in the early part of the race.
There was a little room within the final furlong and it’s fair to say with a clearer passage and stronger handling there is a race at this level to be had.
The form of a 5 length defeat to Glasvegas (3 runs ago) when again ridden softly stands out as very solid in this grade.
As regular readers will know I tend to be a little more vague when it comes to why I’m tipping a lay bet. What can be said is there is a thought process from those that should know that a 9lb rise for his recent win over C&D will be too much to cope with.
Lay in the place market at Matchbook at anything up to 1.9, currently 1.85 but naturally that can vary. For the purposes of our records, we will use the 1.9 odds.
